2012 Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival
JULY 20th-21st, 2012- Sydney Marine Terminal
The 6th annual Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival will kick off with opening cerimonies on Friday night and the races will follow on Saturday! Check back later for updated schedule of events for the weekend.
Friday, July 20th (Location to be determined)
6:30 pm - Captains Meeting
7:30 pm - Parade of athletes to the main stage
7:45 pm - Speeches and entertainment
Saturday, July 21st - Joan Harris Cruise Pavillion a.k.a. The BIG FIDDLE
7:45 am - Warm up
8:00 am - Races start
10:00 am - Silent auction, health and wellness expo, fitness demos, children's events
3:00 pm - Championship races
4:00 pm - Carnation ceremony in honour breast cancer survivors
