6th Annual Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival 

Friday, July 20th -Saturday, July 21st

With a dual purpose to promote health and wellness and raise funds for three community-based    organizations, the Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival has become a signature event for Sydney’s waterfront.

Each year, thousands of spectators, teams and paddlers from across Canada take part in this event.

Last year’s festival raised more than $56,000 for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, Special Olympics Cape Breton and the Cape Breastoners.

We look forward to sharing one of the summer's most exciting events with you!
